Christy M. Howley Connois is a member of the firm of Bowman & Howley. She has a general civil, corporate and criminal practice, specializing on the areas of family law, including divorce, custody, child support, property partition, adoption and related matters. She also practices in the areas of personal injury, successions including wills and estates, and both felony and misdemeanor criminal representation. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association’s House of Delegates, and a member of the LSBA’s Committee on the Profession. She was also named as Best Attorney in Jefferson Parish in 2010 by Jefferson Life magazine (in a tie for first place). She was also listed in SuperLawyers in 2011 as one of the top family law attorneys in Louisiana. She was named in 2015 as one of the Top 10 Family Law Attorneys in the State of Louisiana by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys.
She teaches professionalism at Loyola and Tulane Law Schools via the first and third year law student programs, for the Louisiana State Bar Association. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Volunteers of America of Greater New Orleans, a local non-profit agency. She received her undergraduate degree from Loyola University in 1990 and her law degree from Loyola Law School in 1994.
