Elizabeth Bowman is a member of the firm of Bowman & Howley. She has a general civil practice, focusing on the areas of estate planning and successions, in which she became certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization in 2015, one of only approximately 125 lawyers in the State of Louisiana to hold that distinction. Many of her succession cases are reported decisions. She also practices in the areas of family law, including divorce, custody, child support, property partition, and personal injury claims.
She received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana Scholars' College at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches in 1991 and her law degree from Loyola Law School in 1994. She is actively involved in the local community performing volunteer work with various civic organizations. She and her husband have three children.
